Hi, this is Gavin, the Globe Magazine Editor… Thanks for the positive feedback… Do you prefer the Issuu page-flip app to read online or do you still download the PDF as well / instead to read later offline? Keep the comments coming! Cheers!

Good to have the choice, but I have to say that the page-flip was incredibly easy to use. An excellent innovation.

Loved the page flip. Online is just fine by me it saves all those back issues sitting on the shelf gathering dust which I just can’t bring myself to throw out. I can always just print off any specific article I want to keep. Well done and thanks!

A triumph for a silver surfer – pageflip worked and, as ever, the Newsletter has been read with great interest. Thanks to all..

I don’t know what the full screen button is- couldn’t find it on the page, so too small to read. Couldn’t open as a pdf to read it without saving it, could do with just an open.

It’s this in the bottom right hand side of the page flip when you mouse over it.

I love the stories and everything about Globe but I loved those hard copies more…..far easier for me to grab one or two or three and enjoy with my cuppa than getting online

      Hi

Unfortunately it was a matter of costs, it is far more economical for members to buy an inkjet printer to print their copy of Globe than pay the £50 a year membership fee we were faced with imposing to cover the costs of the printing and postage of Globe.

Globe is still set up to be printed, members can print it in Letter/A4 or as a booklet if your printer has that setting.
